I really wish I could give this place no stars at all. I called back in June to reserve a one night stay for my photographer that is coming in from out of town for my wedding. When I spoke to the "owner" Doris, she stated that they do not do reservations that far out. I explained my situation and she finally agreed to let me book a room for one night. Doris called me two days ago telling me she didnt have a credit card number to reserve my room and she has other guest that she is going to put in the room I reserved and cancel my reservations. I called her today to give my credit card number so that my photographer would have someplace to stay and the price went up 50 dollars from when I first made my reservation. I am a local and have lived in Dryden my whole life. My parents are from here and my grandparents. This is just horrible business. I will never stay here, never recommend staying here. Im sure its nice if you have money to throw away for floating prices but I dont.

Very sweet woman that runs it, clean place!
First off I really liked the the owner, she came out and introduced herself and was very personable. The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't have a chance to have breakfast so I can't tell you how the food was. Overall very nice place
Extremely cozy place in a very cute little town just outside of Cortland NY, near Ithaca. We had a small suite for $175/night, compared to $155 for the Quality Inn on the same weekend. For this, we got two big rooms, both with beds, a sitting area, a super hot shower with good water pressure, and two of the best breakfasts I've ever eaten. The woman who runs the place is smart and friendly and no-nonsense. We will definitely stay again if we're back in this area of upstate.
The lady who runs the candlelight is a sweetheart and very kind. Was such a cozy stay. We enjoyed it ! Highly recommend it . VERY CLEAN !!!!!! 5 stars!!!!!!!
